Google Talk is another great product by Google. This is an easy-to-use telephony application that can also be used as an instant messenger. To use this application you need to sign up for either a Gmail or a Google account. Registration for these accounts is both free and easy to do.
One of the areas in which Google Talk is most useful in is voicemail, with many great features to explore and play with. Along with all the interesting features, the audio quality of Google Talk is as good or better than most of the other options out there. A favorite feature of many people is that you can leave voicemail for anyone, even those who do not yet use Google Talk, whether they're online or not and they can still recieve it. Google Talk is even integrated into Gmail, so you can chat with friends through your email account.
Google Talk is great but it is not perfect, one problem some people might have with it is that you can't communicate with people who use most of the more popular instant messaging services like AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, and Windows Live Messenger. However, Google Talk looks slim, free of annoying adds and it saves all your conversations into Gmail account. You need to have Gmail account to use it, of course.
